Iv’ been a loyal customer of dominoes since the past 3 years now... much so that i make it a point to order at least 4 pizzas a month. .. Its not the taste of the pizza that allures me .. to be honest .. the pizza normally is stale and the pizza bread also isin that great... but theres one thing abt dominoes pizza that none of the other ones have... Of the last 10 pizzas iv ordered .. iv got 7 pizzas for free... yup ... u heard me right..
Iv long thought of passing on my experience of coning the Dominoes pizza walas .. and hers a compiled list of 5 ways u can get ur pizza for free..
1. Hutch Tuesday:
This is by far the most common method most of us IITians use.... the offer states that you get a pizza free for every pizza u order. Simply call the dominoes pizza delivery system on a Tuesday, tell them you have a dominoes code. Now 9 out of 10 times they ask u for the code. U simply tell them that its on your friends phone and that you would show it to the delivery boy.
That’s it.. u then go on to order ur pizza .. and half an hour later .. u get one of ur pizzas for free..
2. Using the coupon code:
Dominoes sends many one on one free coupons to its regular customers. All you have to do is repeat the procedure mentioned above and use the Donimoes ka offer. To register for these coupons log on to the dominoes website and fill up a WOW club membership form.
Ps: just to inform the others...... pizza hut also does similar things... so pizza hut fans log in on the pizza hut site
Ohk ... from this point onwards is where the real conning begins...
3. Inventing a coupon code
This is one of the valuable things that i came to know on my intern..... The dominoes call receivers dont actually know what the correct coupon codes are. .. so all u need to is just invent a code.... but there r 3 small things u need to remember..
- The code is a 5 characters long
- It is normally a mix of two letters and three nos.. or three letters and two nos
- Its always letters followed with nos
A few examples would be ... CRM33, DM100 , DWM 20.. etc
So all u need to do is make up a coupon code.. call the dominoes wala.... if they say that such a code doesn’t exist .. tell them ur holding the coupon in ur hand.. and that ull show it to the delivery boy they’ll mostly ask u for the expiry date.. tell them its the end of the month....
9 on 10 times the pizza delivery boy wont ask for the coupon... so u don’t need to produce one.. :P
For the next two cases .. u need to be sort of luck... but this has happened to many people loads of times...
4. The slightly crushed pizza:
Many times the delivered pizza is slightly crushed from the top .. in the sense that the tip lid sort of sticks to the pizza... so always check ur pizza before taking one...
So if you ever encounter the such a situation .. simply call the dominoes office.. and talk with the person who took you order.. tell them that ur pizza came crushed.... their first reply would be that they would send a new fresh pizza back as soon as you send the delivery boy.... Now here’s where all the years of haggling comes into help... all u need to do is argue with the person on the phone how you are a very big customer... and how their quality has degraded.. and how you r thinkin of shifting to pizza hut for your pizzas ... do this for around 5 mins.. and mostly he should agree to give u ur pizza for free... if this dosent happen .. tell him u want to speak to the manager.... then repeat the entire conversation with him.... again 8 on 10 times.. you would get your pizza for free ..
5. The delay...
Dominoes has a 30 minute time guarantee... however they often cancel it because of some random excuse..... and again 9on 10 times the pizza delivery boy delivers the pizza at least 45 mins after you called.. so what do u do.. well the haggling comes to play here too...repeat the calling procedure mentioned above and u should get ur pizza for free...
Of the tips mentioned there are two cases in which u might fail to get ur pizza for free...
- When the delivery boy asks for a coupon..
Now in this scenario you simply need to tell him that u searched for the coupon and dont have either the coupon or the money to pay up completely.. then he would normally call the dominoes office and make u speak to their manager.... now again mention the fact that u r a regular customer and that the next time u order the pizza ull give the coupon... thats it.. now take ur pizza for free.
- When the manager is not willing to give u ur free pizza on delayed or crushed delivery
Just threaten that u wont pay up and ask them to take the pizza away... Its one pizza lost.. but from the next time those idiots would give u ur pizza for free .
So this was a summary of tricks to fool the dominoes delivery system.... is any one has any more example do comment..... Lets make the Dominoes pay for the not - so - great they make \m/
